1–2 visits a year. Bush-hog the floor. Trim the edge. Knock back what is trying to close the woods again. Recurring bush hogging covers field edge clearing and tree line clearing, plus equestrian trail maintenance and pasture reclamation and food plot clearing when a trail or field is filling back in.
What you get
The lot stays walkable. Less money than starting over every few years.
Restoration without a return visit is a one-year job. Stewardship costs less than starting over every few years.
